A print of Old Ouse Bridge and St William’s Chapel from King’s Staith. It is a busy scene with sailing vessels being unloaded with barrels and figures on the staith. The bridge was demolished.

To Sir Mark Masterman Sykes Bart, FSA and MP for the City of York: this print of the Old Bridge and St William’s Chapel, York, from sketches made previous to the demolition of the Chapel in augt 1809, is by permission dedicated by his most obedient and very humble Servant –Henry Cave.
