This shows the east end of the former Crown and Sceptre Tavern, Highbridge Wharf, Greenwich, from Trinity Wharf. It was used as premises of the local Curlew Rowing Club, 1882–1934, and replaced by a brick wharf building in 1936–1937. The passage west down the back of the buildings towards Crane Street is on the left and the Thames over the river wall on the right.
