From the foreground on the left to the middle distance is a line of trees that curve around a lake or riverbank. Near it sits a woman in white; standing in front of her, fishing, is a woman in blue with a red shawl. In the foreground is a man, also fishing, dressed in brown. In the distance, in the other bank, is a temple. It is of a light stone, with a darker coloured roof, and has a small dome on top, with a flag; there are many windows. To the right of the building is a group of trees.
