Two further famous busts of the composer are by Henry Westmacott in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum (white marble), which was commissioned by Sir Henry Tate and was probably made in Scotland in 1831–2, and the plaster bust by the Italian artist Benedetto Pistrucci, which was made in London in 1832. The latter bust was last sold at Sotheby's in London in 2006.
