This low relief sculptural panel in a contemporary style is fixed to the wall (door recess). It is in a shaded area of the passageway through from the market square to the Exchange complex in Aylesbury town centre. The arcaded ground floor is supported internally on stone piers with elaborately carved heads. To the left, an elaborate neo-classical stone door case has a carved tympanum with putti supporting a cartouche with an inscription; presumably this led to the corn exchange. There is one inscription on the actual sculpture panel. On the door surround there are two inscriptions. The top inscription is surrounded by two carved cherubs. The other inscription is at the base of the doorway to the right of the sculptural panel above the step.
