A full length bronze portrait statue of Lord Nelson modelled by Princess Louise, daughter of Queen Victoria. Nelson is depicted bareheaded and standing facing slightly to his right, with his left leg forward and slightly bent. He has a telescope in his left hand, tucked in at the left side with the eyepiece pointed downwards. The telescope is removable. The figure stands on a hexagonal base.
