Consisting of: coats of arms; a ship – the 'King George' of Whitehaven with a mermaid below; running hares and a hound; Whitehaven miners descending the shaft; a Crampton steam locomotive; a fox in front of Whitehaven Castle encircled by running hounds; and a raid on the port of Whitehaven by John Paul Jones.
