A Carrara marble tablet carved in low relief with the head of an old man in profile, high forehead, head inclined back, anguished expression, in left profile, from the great stair of the Palazzo Grimani, Venice. It is set in a mahogany frame. Part of set of five Carrara marble tablets and one framed document (see NT/HUG/SC/60a-f). The tablets represent various humours, consisting originally of at least sixteen heads.
