Etching and drypoint on a small rectangular sheet of thin, wove paper, after a work by Benozzo Gozzoli (c.1421-24-1497). Head and shoulders of a man with short, dark hair and wearing a skull-cap, in profile facing right. Background of linear hatching with cross-hatching to the left. At lower left: 'B. GOZZOLI pinx'. At lower right: printmaker's initials in monogram: 'TK'. There is a narrow margin around the platemark. This is possibly one of a series of prints after Gozzoli of head and shoulders portraits of men by Kerrich, as another similar portrait by Kerrich after Gozzoli is in the collection of the British Museum (see 1858,0417.370 and 1931,0413.169). See Notes.
