The memorial consists of an angled plinth with an inscription etched onto the top and sides. On the front face of the memorial is an 8th Air Force badge in enamel and an etched depiction of a B24 Liberator aeroplane taking off. The whole memorial stands on a kerbed raised stone base. It was refurbished and rededicated in 2019.
