A memorial life-size 'Godfrey' the village goose whose longevity wrote him into village folklore. A book has also been written about the goose. The sculpture sits on an island in the middle of the village pond. The unveiling was attended by over 100 residents. Godfrey unfortunately died after being attacked by some ducks.
