A pair of tall square piers with stone plinth bases, brick and tile corniced caps surmounted by stone vases with carved swags, flowers and fruit. A shorter pier to the left is surmounted by a stone orb. Both piers are joined with an ornate wrought iron panel. On the right, a tall square pier with stone plinth base and brick and tile corniced caps is surmounted by a stone vase with carved swags, flowers and fruit. Inside the main piers, mounted on iron brackets, are ornate wrought iron gates sweeping up to ornate finials at the centre. These are the gate piers to the former Manor House built for the Earl of Craven by Sir Balthazar Gerbier and William Wynne (Winde) which burnt down in 1718.
