This photograph is from the series 'Neither Could Exist Alone', commissioned by Autograph and created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. In these photographs, Rosi interprets how the virus affected social norms and changed our behavioural patterns.

To make the work, Rosi built a room at her family home in Italy, copying the dimensions of her former London flat. Using photography and film, 'Neither Could Exist Alone' explores ideas of isolation and the sense of fear that manifested through the continued lack of human interactions during the pandemic.
