Born in County Longford, Sir Henry Wilson (1864–1922) served as a Field Marshall and as a military advisor to British Prime Minister David Lloyd George in the last year of the First World War.
Elected a Member of Parliament for North Down In February 1922, he was assassinated in London only four months later.
