A small, high, basin is centred above a large main semi-circular basin. All the retaining walls are in granite. To the left and right of the central feature are two similar decorative groups. Both groups culminate in granite urns encircled with bronze seaweed. This giant seaweed disguises two opposing waterspouts, the side-sections are surmounted with bronze sculptures. The highest part of the centrepiece is a cascade, a huge formalised shell. Beneath is a seahorse between two spiky shells. In the first basin, to the left, is a triton holding a large fish under his right arm. To his right, with a small bunch of seaweed in her right hand, is a mermaid. Around are crustaceans, seaweed, shells and fish.
