A large monumental drinking fountain in Baroque style on an elliptical plan made from Portland stone. The fountain itself has a trough of grey granite with brass and bronze fixtures protected by an elliptical entablature on two piers with fluted pilasters. Surmounting the canopy is a stone urn with drapery and flowers. At the base of the piers on both sides are carvings of still life arrangements incorporating racing paraphernalia and foliage.
