A memorial garden with artworks in memory of a local teenager, Donna Cooper, who was killed by joyriders. It has a steel memorial entrance arch with owl and floral motifs. Local schoolchildren and members of the community were involved in developing the gardens.

gateway: DONNA COOPER MEMORIAL GARDEN; board: This site contains the Memorial Garden created in memory of Donna Cooper, a teenager from Rushall killed by joyriders in 1993. The Garden has been developed by a design team consisting of Walsall Metropolitan Borough / Council, Groundwork Black Country, Donn’s parents and artist Anuradha Patel, who worked with the local residents / and school children to create the designs for the artworks on site. The landscaping for the Garden was funded by / English Partnerships. European Regional Development Fund, the Millennium Commission and donations from the local community.
