A portrait of the Huddersfield woollen and worsted manufacturer Denys Roger Hesketh Williams. His wife was Maud Evelyn Margaret Williams, née Scott (1876–1951) and their daughter was Violet Noël Goodall, née Williams (1905–1943), whose portrait by David Muirhead is in the same collection.
