The memorial has a large hexagonal step base in which are inscribed Names of the Fallen along with figurative statues in niches showing a soldier- sailor- airman and nurse. A stem rises out of the base containing a niched figure of St George. The stem is surmounted by a canopied niche containing Christ crucified. Above the canopied niche is a crocketed pinnacle. In the grounds of the Grade 1 listed St Peter and St Paul Church.
