Colonel Oscar Vaughan Viney was a Director of Hazell, Watson and Viney from 1920–1959 and Chairman from 1950–1954. He was also High Sheriff of Bucks in 1950.
He had a military career from January 1914 in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, Buckinghamshire Battalion becoming a Lieutenant-Colonel in 1930. He retired from the British Army in 1934 and was appointed Brevet Colonel in 1938. He died on 7th June 1976 and is buried in Tring Road Cemetery, Aylesbury.
