Holy Trinity Church, Clapham was built in 1774–1776 to replace the former parish church in Rectory Grove. The architect was Kenton Couse of the Office of Works. Memorial tablets outside the church commemorate the abolition of the slave trade through the work of the members of the Clapham Sect. The original church clock in the turret can be seen in the picture.
