The printed view is of a cross-section of the rawdah al-sharifah. The Prophet's minbar is shown on the right; in the centre are the Prophet's mihrab and the two doors of the rawdah, above which is the hadith 'Between my house and my minbar is one of the gardens of Paradise'; and the bayt, or the Prophet's house, where are his tomb as well as those of Abu Bakr and 'Umar, to the left. A blank space is left in the inscribed panel below the drawing to allow the pilgrim to add his or her name and the day and year (13– –) in which the ziyarah was completed. Within a circle below the mihrab is written, '(this drawing of the) al-Rawdah al-mustanarah has been registered under number '17133' in the name of the person who has drawn it and who owns it, al-Hajj 'Abbas Kararah'.
