Celtic calligraphy, bookplate for the Sir John Rhys Collection. Numerous celtic designs and symbols embellishing lettering. The symbols include a daffodil, a red dragon, a lion, a fish, snakes / serpents and bird heads. Celtic patterns include spirals some of which use counter space.
