A figure of a serviceman of the Black Watch stands on a plinth and base. There is a dedicatory inscription on the front face of the plinth, above which is a scene of a battle charge of Highlanders. The serviceman stands in a relaxed posture with his arms resting on the barrel of his rifle, the butt of which rests on the ground.
