This specimen was found at Eastwood in January 1893 presumably by Charlie McIntosh and sent to Beatrix in London. Beatrix's habit was to paint two versions of these pictures, one which she kept, the other she sent to Charlie asking for his comments on the scientific accuracy of her efforts.
