Margarete Marks
1899–1990
Painter, ceramist and teacher, born in Cologne, Germany, as Margarete Heymann. Marks early determined to be an artist. She was trained at the Kunstgewerberschule Koln and Kunstakademie Düsseldorf as well as the Weimar Bauhaus, 1920.
