Interior scene of a censor's office during the First World War. Rows of men wearing suits sit at desks, sorting through neutral trade mail. A number of senior men walk about the room, one on the far right talking to a worker. The room has low ceilings and is dimly lit by rows of hanging lampshades; the windows in the background are open at the top to allow air to circulate the busy office. Desks are piled with documents and office equipment.
