Also attributed to an Italian hand, possibly Tuscan, c.1600. One of three or more drawings from a set showing religious and surgical episodes in the life of a man. Three are catalogued in the Wellcome Collection catalogue as Nos. 46935i, 46936i, and 46937i. Four drawings apparently by the same hand were offered for sale at Christie's Amsterdam, 10th November 1999, lot 307, as by Pieter de Jode I: they show worshippers praying by the tomb of a saint and saints blessing and praying.
