Image shows one arch of a bridge of brown stone. Through the arch can be seen a long red boat as well as other indistinct boats, several masts rising above the boats. The grey stone walls of a quayside are visible behind the boats, and the facade of a building in a darker grey rises above the quay, at left. This image is reflected on the water beneath and in front of the arch, in the foreground, the reflected image shimmering and being less distinct. Sunlight is reflected in short patches of cream on the waves in centre foreground.
