Painter in oil and watercolour and teacher, born in Bristol, who studied at the West of England College of Art, then taught at St Brandon’s School, in Somerset, 1954–5. Following marriage, she spent three years in Australia where she met John Brack, teacher and curator, who influenced her work, which she showed in Melbourne. After returning to England she lived in Surrey and Yorkshire, where her husband, Peter Teed, was head of Goole Grammar School. She showed regularly at the RA Summer Exhibition, RBA, RCamA and RSA. Solo exhibitions included Usher Gallery, Lincoln, 1975 and 1983; University of Exeter, 1978; Falmouth Art Gallery, 1981; Leeds Playhouse, 1984; and Patricia Wells Gallery, Thornbury, Avon. Teed latterly lived in Crantock, Cornwall, the county’s coast being a strong theme in her pictures.
