Versatile artist, notable for her watercolours, born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, daughter of the artist John Guttridge Sykes. She was educated at Penzance High School and studied at the Harvey and Procter School of Painting. The British Art Company published reproductions of her works Dahlias, The Ginger Jar, Reflections and Roses and she showed at RI, RWA, RSA, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and at Passmore Edwards Art Gallery in Newlyn, Cornwall, where she lived with her father.
