Sculptor, ceramist and relief artist, born in Edinburgh who attended Glasgow School of Art, 1969–74, gaining a sculpture diploma. Showed at RSA from 1976 and two years later became resident artist for Glenrothes Development Corporation, Fife, where he completed a large body of work. His fibreglass figures Tommy and Maggie, completed 1976–9, are dramatically situated in Glenshee Sculpture Park, Tayside.
