Figure and portrait painter and draughtsman, born in Trivandrum, India. From 1976–81 attended Slade School of Fine Art. Group exhibitions included The School of London: Works on Paper, at Odette Gilbert Gallery, 1989; Contemporary Art Society Market, Royal Festival Hall, 1994; Art95, The Museum of Women’s Art exhibition, Business Design Centre, 1995. Had a solo show at Bernard Jacobson Gallery, 1986, showing with Marlborough Fine Art from 1991. There was an exhibition at Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Kendal, in 2004. British Museum, Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, Saatchi Collection and Metropolitan Museum, New York, hold examples. Lived in London.
