Versatile painter, born in Kilnhurst, Yorkshire, brother of sculptor Charles Sargeant Jagger and of the artist Edith Jagger. He was a leading member of ROI and belonged to RP, also showing at RA, RBA, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and elsewhere. In 1940 his work was included in The Art of the Jagger Family at Mappin Art Gallery, Sheffield. Lived in London.
