Painter and miniaturist, first wife of the artist John Young Hunter. After marrying him she travelled extensively on the continent. She is depicted in her husband’s Chantrey Bequest picture My Lady’s Garden, held by the Tate Gallery. Lived for some years in Wickhambrook, Suffolk. Showed extensively, mainly watercolours, at Fine Art Society, RA, SWA and elsewhere. Pyms Gallery held an exhibition of both Young Hunters’ works in 2000.
