Portrait painter, born in Aberdeen, who studied under George Harcourt at Patrick Allan-Fraser School of Art, Hospitalfield, Arbroath. He was a member of RP and London Portrait Society and showed also at RA, Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. He lived in London and painted portraits of the nobility.
