Painter and teacher, married to the artist Albert Houthuesen. She was born in Liverpool where she attended the School of Art, then Royal College of Art. She lectured in art at St Gabriel’s Training College in London, where she lived. Late in life she showed with Mercury Gallery. Tate Gallery holds her picture Sheep’s Skull and Ferns.
