Sculptor, ceramics artist and teacher, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He became head of ceramics at Glasgow School of Art after holding a similar position at Edinburgh College of Art. Was active in promoting the Scottish Craft Centre. As early as 1963 Cohen showed at Sacramento Museum Craft Exhibition in America. Arrived in Scotland he showed at 57 Gallery, Edinburgh, British Craft Centre and Carnegie Trust Sculpture Exhibition. Also showed, solo or in groups, at Compass Gallery, Glasgow; Boundary Gallery; and widely overseas.
