The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum provides places for the people of Coventry and visitors to the City to meet, celebrate and explore their cultural and creative past, present and futures.
The Museum is ideally located in the centre of Coventry next to the historic Cathedral. Since its re-opening in October 2008, the Herbert has created an environment where the entire family is welcome. Because of this they were named as the Best Family Friendly Museum in the prestigious Guardian Family Friendly Museum award in 2010.
The Discover Godiva gallery explains the legend and legacy of Coventry's most famous resident, Elements uncovers the natural world, and the Visual Art galleries show a range of exciting, traditional and influential artists and paintings. The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is an exciting and stunning venue with a full breadth of facilities available for your visit including an on-site café, buggy park, disabled toilets and shop.
