Sculptor and teacher, born in Dorset. She studied at St Martin’s School of Art, 1966–7, Hammersmith College of Art, 1967–8, Hornsey College of Art, 1968–71, and Chelsea School of Art, 1971–2, where she later taught. Gained the Sainsbury Award in 1972 and Greater London Arts Association Major Award in 1979. Went on to show on many group exhibitions from 1972 at Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, including New Sculpture at Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, 1979; Acme Gallery, 1980; Paris Biennale, 1982; and Kruithuis, S’-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, 1983. Was included in 9 Artists from Wapping British tour, based at DLI Museum & Arts Centre, Durham, 1983. Showed solo at Nicola Jacobs Gallery from 1982. An abstract sculptor who was based in London.
