Sculptor, who attended Ilam School of Fine Arts, Canterbury, New Zealand, 1967–8. Between 1968–70 continued specialist sculpture studies, working with prominent British sculptors, including Barbara Hepworth, Denis Mitchell and John Milne; and with Quinto Ghermandi, in Italy. Later awards included Artists in Industry Project, Mildura Arts Centre, Victoria, Australia; Greenham Common Trust Award, Newbury; and 10th Millfield International Sculpture Commission, all 1998. Had extensive group and solo exhibition appearances, one-mans latterly including Meridian Gallery, Melbourne, 1994, Robert McDougal Art Gallery, Christchurch, 1995, and Auckland City Art Gallery, 1997. Carried out numerous public and private commissions from 1976 internationally.
