Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is responsible for two hospitals, University Hospital Lewisham and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, as well as a range of community services. Arts Connect is the Trust’s arts-in-health programme, delivering projects across the sites to improve patient and staff experience and enhance the environment. We use the arts to distract, relax, stimulate and engage, which can have tangible benefits on health and well-being, The Trust has a small collection of original artworks, mainly located at University Hospital Lewisham, including wooden sculptures, wall reliefs, oils and acrylics.
