More about

RAW (Rediscovering Art by Women) is a collection of art by radical twentieth-century women artists. The collection has been assembled by art historian Sacha Llewellyn over a thirty-year period. The aim of RAW is to give greater visibility to women artists and to celebrate their power. The collection covers most key twentieth-century movements – including Cubism, Surrealism and Realism – and includes works in many mediums, including oil painting, sculpture, collage, watercolour and drawing. RAW is a living collection, acquiring additional works every year. While the RAW collection has no physical space, Individual works have been lent to institutions worldwide to support both long-term displays and temporary exhibitions.
