Oswestry Town Council holds a modest collection of paintings that has links to the Oswestry area. The collection was started by the Town Council's predecessor, the old Borough, and has been added to with gifts from Oswestry Library and Longueville Gittins Solicitors. The collection contains views of Oswestry and portraits of former mayors and local dignitaries. It includes views of the old Guildhall by G. Bonner and 'Church Street' by William Williams.
