More about

The award-winning Lakeland Museum, part of Lakeland Arts, takes you back through time to explore the story of the Lake District, and its own unique customs and traditions. The Museum is housed in the former stable block of Abbot Hall Art Gallery, on the banks of the River Kent in the historic town of Kendal, gateway to the Lake District. Recreated period rooms and workshops reveal how rural people lived, worked and played.

Bloomberg Connects is a free arts and culture app. Go behind the scenes with images, videos and audio guides.
