The Museum occupies two floors of a nineteenth-century woollen mill, now called the Castle Campbell Hall. Collections include artefacts, documents, photographs and works of art from the prehistoric to the present day to illustrate the history of Dollar. Within the art collection there are a number of oils, including a double portrait of Harry Bell, Rector of Dollar Academy (1936–1960) and Dr Andrew Mylne, the first Rector of the Academy.
