Derek Chittock
1922–1986
Painter, notably of portraits, whose work contained a strong element of Socialist Realism, art critic and historian, who studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, 1942–7, under Randolph Schwabe, and at the Royal Academy Schools under Philip Connard.
