National Museums Northern Ireland’s collection of fine art contains works of national and international importance, reflecting a variety of artistic styles and media. Across the four individual museums the strength of the art collections is not merely their diversity but in the in-depth holdings of many artists, such as, John Lavery, William Conor and Paul Henry. There are outstanding examples of Irish, British and International artists such as Jordaens, Reynolds, Gainsborough, Turner, and twentieth-century works by Morris Louis, Kenneth Noland, Jack B. Yeats and Francis Bacon.
