About this video
Multi-Cut Column is a sculpture by artist David Nash, who lives and works in north Wales. Students from Whitchurch Primary School made this film about it, and other sculptures by the artist, on display at National Museum Cardiff. In this film, the students discuss their views about the sculpture, discover how and why David Nash works with wood and why he uses chainsaws.
This is one of a series of films made in collaboration with young people across the UK, who explore and express their views on sculpture in public collections.
