Patrick Elliott is Chief Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the National Galleries of Scotland. Over a career of thirty years at the Gallery, he has organised many major exhibitions, such as Alberto Giacometti, René Magritte, Tracey Emin, Joan Eardley, M. C. Escher, 'True to Life: British Realist Painting in the 1920s and 1930s', and the exhibition of Raqib Shaw.
